Located in the heart of Málaga, Alba al Español is a long-established teaching centre. We have other schools in Granada (Academia Puerta Real), Córdoba (Academia Cruz Conde) and Málaga (Academia Avenida Andalucía).

Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) Academic Coordinator
Rebeca Ferreiro
• Bachelor's degree in Hispanic Literature, Master's degree in Communication, and PhD in Political Science (with a focus on Communication).
• Courses and training sessions in team coordination, transformation of our center using the SACIC framework, ELE teaching methodology, use of AI in the ELE classroom, design and adaptation of materials for the ELE classroom, teaching in hybrid models, and pedagogical mediation.
• Teaching experience at CEFR levels A1 to C2, in courses for specific purposes and as a DELE exam preparation instructor in various contexts (immersion, foreign language, heritage speakers, business, and political settings) for children, adolescents, and adults in Mexico, the United States, and Spain. Advisor for university theses in Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) for students in Beijing, China.
• DELE examiner at levels A1 to C2 for adults; levels A2/B1 and B2/C1 for school children.
• Trainer of Spanish as a Foreign Language teachers in the Diploma Program in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language at the University of Guadalajara.
• Experience in the design of Spanish as a Foreign Language educational materials, assessment materials, and programs for teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and Spanish as a Second Language (from basic to university level) in various countries, as well as the coordination and co-design of the Diploma Program on 20th-Century Mexican Women Writers at the University of Guadalajara Foundation/USA.

• Experience teaching Spanish to immigrants.
